Stasolo AI ("us", "we", or "our") operates the stasolo.com website (the "Service") and will offer virtual
agent services (the "Platform"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and
disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and Platform and the choices you have associated with
that data.
1. Information We Collect
For Website Visitors (stasolo.com):
- Email Address: If you subscribe to our newsletter or updates, we collect your email
address to send you information about our launch and services.
- Usage Data: We may collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage
Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g.
IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date
of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
(We will only collect this if we implement analytics tools).
For Our Future Platform Users (Our Customers):
- Account Information: When you (our Customer) subscribe to our Platform, we collect
information such as your name, email address, business information, and payment information (processed
by a third-party payment processor).
- Configuration Data: Information you (our Customer) provide to configure your virtual
agents, such as business rules, calendar information, and content for automated responses.
- Data Processed by Virtual Agents on Behalf of Our Customers:
When our Customers use Stasolo's virtual agents, these agents interact with their
end-users (i.e., the customers or contacts of our Customers). The data processed can
include:
- Names, contact details (e.g., phone numbers via WhatsApp).
- Message content exchanged between the end-user and the virtual agent.
- Other information necessary for the agent to perform its tasks as configured by our Customer
(e.g., appointment details, invoice information).
Our Customers are the data controllers for this end-user data. Stasolo acts as a data processor on
behalf of our Customers.
Important: To provide the AI-powered responses, the content of messages exchanged
between
end-users and the virtual agent will be transmitted to and processed by Google's Gemini
API (Or any other AI provider we may add in the future stated in Section 7). To facilitate WhatsApp
communication, messages will also be processed by Twilio Inc.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- To provide and maintain our Service and (in the future) our Platform.
- To notify you about changes to our Service or Platform.
- To allow you (our Customer) to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do
so.
- To provide customer support to our Customers.
- To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service and Platform.
- To monitor the usage of our Service and Platform.
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues.
- To send you news, special offers, and general information about other goods, services, and events which
we offer that are similar to those that you have already enquired about unless you have opted not to
receive such information.
- To enable the functionality of our virtual agents, including transmitting queries to and
receiving
responses from third-party AI services such as Google’s Gemini API (or other providers we may add in
the
future) — and routing messages via communication platforms like Twilio, when processing end-user
messages on
behalf of our Customers.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Third-Party Service Providers (Data Processors): We may share information with
third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service/Platform (e.g., hosting, email delivery,
payment
processing), to provide the Service/Platform on our behalf, or to assist us in analyzing how our
Service/Platform is used. These third parties have access to Personal Data only to perform these tasks
on our
behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

With Communication Platform Providers (Specifically for WhatsApp Integration):
To provide our WhatsApp Business integration, we utilize Twilio Inc. or its
affiliates
("Twilio") as our WhatsApp Business Solution Provider.
- Messages exchanged via WhatsApp between your end-users and our virtual agents
(acting on
your behalf as our Customer) will be routed through Twilio's platform to
connect to the
WhatsApp network.
- Twilio acts as a data processor (or sub-processor to Stasolo) for this communication data,
handling the
transmission of messages.
- We encourage you to review Twilio's Privacy Policy and Terms of
Service to understand their data handling
practices. Stasolo is not responsible for Twilio's data handling practices beyond our direct
contractual
agreements with them.

With AI Service Providers (Specifically for Virtual Agent Intelligence):
To enable the intelligent response capabilities of our virtual agents, message content from
end-users (i.e., the customers or contacts of our Customers) interacting with the
virtual
agents will be sent to Google Ireland Limited or its affiliates ("Google") to be processed by its Gemini
API.
We will utilize the Paid Services tier of the Gemini API.
- Google acts as a data processor (or sub-processor to Stasolo) for this specific data.
- According to Google's terms for Paid Services of the Gemini API (as
reviewed on May 28, 2025), when you use Paid Services,
Google
does not use your prompts (including associated system instructions, cached content, and
files) or
responses to improve its products.
- Google will process your prompts and responses in accordance with its Data
Processing Addendum for Products Where Google is a Data Processor.
- For Paid Services, Google logs prompts and responses for a limited period of time,
solely for the
purpose of detecting violations of its Prohibited Use Policy and for any required legal or
regulatory
disclosures.
- This data may be stored transiently or cached in any country in which Google or its agents
maintain
facilities.
- While Google provides these assurances for its Paid Services, our Customers and
their
end-users should still be encouraged to review Google's general
Privacy Policy and the full Google AI Gemini API Terms of Service. Stasolo
is not responsible for
Google's data handling practices beyond the commitments made by Google for its Paid Services as
outlined in
their terms.
- For Legal Requirements: We may disclose Personal Data if required to do so by law or in
response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
4. Use of WhatsApp Business Platform
If our Customers choose to integrate Stasolo's virtual agents with their WhatsApp Business
account, Stasolo acts as a data processor for the communications handled via WhatsApp on their behalf. Our
Customers remain the data controllers for the interactions with their
end-users.
When using the WhatsApp integration:
- Communications data is initially processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc. or its affiliates)
according to
their terms and privacy policies.
- To connect your WhatsApp Business Profile to our Stasolo platform, we utilize Twilio Inc. as our
WhatsApp Business Solution Provider. As such, messages are routed through Twilio's
infrastructure.
Twilio acts as a sub-processor to Stasolo for this message transmission.
- Stasolo then processes these communications to provide the agreed-upon virtual agent services.
- Furthermore, as described in Section 3, message content from these WhatsApp communications will
be
transmitted to Google's Gemini API for AI processing. In this context, Google also acts as a
sub-processor to
Stasolo for the AI processing portion of the service.
Our
Customers are responsible for complying with
WhatsApp's Commerce and Business Policies, as well
as any applicable terms from Twilio related to the use of the WhatsApp Business API through their services.
5. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, physical,
and
technical security safeguards to help protect your Personal Data from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized
access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or
method of
electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your
Personal
Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
When data is transmitted to third-party services like Twilio (for message routing) and Google's
Gemini
API (for AI processing), the security of that data during transmission and while being processed by
these
providers is also subject to their respective security measures and infrastructure, as outlined in their
terms.
6. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on your location, you (our Customer) may have certain data protection rights. Stasolo aims to take
reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data. If you wish
to be
informed about what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems,
please
contact us.
For end-users interacting with virtual agents provided through Stasolo on behalf of our
Customers: please direct any requests regarding your personal data to the Stasolo
Customer (the business you are interacting with), as they are the data controller for your
data.
7. AI Providers Utilized by Stasolo

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you (our Customer) of any changes by
posting
the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this
Privacy
Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on
this
page.
